Blachford provides metal working lubricants, Fluid Recycling and Management services which reduce customer lubricant consumption by ~30% and disposal costs by ~80%. In 2008 Blachford won the "Innovation Award" from a leading global automotive parts producer, for providing both cost savings and environmental waste reduction.
We take responsibility for helping our customers reduce environmental waste by creating metal working lubricants that are fully recyclable, as well as designing and providing a fluid recycling process. Blachford has also designed industry-leading "no wash" metal working lubricants which provide the necessary robust lubricity required to form a wide variety of metal parts, while leaving the part surface clean enough for any subsequent application of surface coating. Many Blachford customers have been able to eliminate washing after stamping, resulting in major cost reductions and energy savings.
Since 1959, Blachford has been the licensed manufacturer for Quaker Chemical Corporation for the Canadian marketplace. Quaker Chemical is a leading global provider of process chemicals and technical expertise for most applications in the metal working industry.
