 Lubricants for Drawing Wire
We've been supplying our customers with meticulously researched, innovative and dynamic wire drawing products for almost 50 years. With over 250 wet and dry lubricants for producing ferrous and non-ferrous wire, our lubricant solutions will continually improve and evolve your manufacturing processes.
Our extensive line of Blachford dry lubricants, sold under the well-known registered trademarks Chemdraw® and Caplube®, is designed for ferrous wire. These products are based on metallic soap powders, with controlled morphologies and particle size distributions.
Blachford's equally diverse line of wet lubricants, also sold under the registered trademark Chemdraw®, is suitable for ferrous, non-ferrous and coated-ferrous wire drawing applications.
We also manufacture precoats, grease and paste products and liquid concentrates for emulsions.
Our dry lubricants, and most of our wet lubricants, are manufactured in Frankfort, Illinois. Wet lubricants are also manufactured in Mississauga, Ontario.
