 Rolling Oils
Large quantities of our performance-oriented rolling oils are sold for use on single stand mills and tandem steel mills. Custom-made products can be developed both at our in-house and also at our licensor Quaker Chemical's laboratories for each mill. We supply conventional, cationic, and defined particle size distribution emulsions. To circumvent problems arising from the contamination of the rolling oil, we provide compatible pickle oils and hydraulic fluids.
Our pickle oils are applied to steel to prevent gouging or scratching and to provide lubrication during cold rolling. They also aid in protecting surfaces during storage.
For cold roll steel, we have oils that inhibit corrosion called slushing oils.
These products are sold under the registered trademarks Quakerol® and Tinnol®.
